I just got a new Sportsman 1502 and you have to turn the turner on manual to take eggs in and out but you are supposed to turn the turner back on afterwards. Well, I just realized i forgot to do that and never wondered why the turner beeper wasn't beeping. Finally after a week I realized the eggs hadn't been turning. Has anyone done that? and how did your hatch turn out?I had some eggs near the end of the 18 day mark and a batch at only 2 weeks.

Some might stick to one side, but some should still hatch. I did the same thing with some buff orpington egs and I got a 75% hatch rate.

Thanks, these are my own eggs so they havn't been purchased and shipped and I can replace them. Still hope I didn't kill anyone. Poor babies.

The ones at the end of their cycle may be ok, but the ones in the middle could be stuck. But that doesn't mean they won't hatch, it just means they may need some help. At the right time. Always waits a minimum of 24 hours from a pip before helping.

Yep...put 13 Guineas in lockdown a week early thinking I was still on chicken scedule...freaked and only had 1 full day of turning before going into real lockdown...all 13 hatched
