Forgot to unplug incubator when candling

I forgot to unplug my mini incubator when I candled eggs. Lid was off maybe 5 minutes when I realized .They are about 7 days in process. Did I hurt them? What is Celsius temp incubator should be? I am so nervous I can’t think. Plus what happens you do this? Instructions always say unplug but not why.

37.5 degrees Celsius

But if you just had the incubator open, it will probably be low. Do not adjust the thermostat, just give it a while to bring itself back to the right temperature.

Mama Broody gets off the nest every so often to eat, drink, dust bathe, and deposit that massive, nasty broody poop where you are most likely to step in it, so they should be just fine! I don't unplug mine to candle. I know my limitations .., and I know it would be worse if I forgot to turn it back on!

There's no reason to unplug it. All it would do is make it have have get back to temperature and possibly reset the timer

Okay it freaked me out cuz I don’t know what happens if you don’t.
Thanks . I don’t think my rooster will be around too much longer and I was hoping that I’d have a male to carry on his bloodline.
