I've had this one coming into the yard after its owner moved and abandoned it. It's been slowly integrating into my flock and has been roosting in my trees until today. It followed the group into my garage/coop.

This one has to be at least 3 or 4 years old. I have lived here for 4 years and saw them after the first year. There used to be 4 but wonder if the others got packed up but they couldn't catch this one.

Does anyone have a good audio on a female calls. And if female how long do they actually lay? Or would she no longer be laying?

Oh that’s SO sad. Guineas are very social flock animals so she’s probably pretty lonely.

Females make a two syllable “come back” noise, there are some pretty good audios on YouTube that helped me sex mine. Another good way to tell is it’s body language. Females will actually look at you while males will stand sideways to you and size you up to see if they want to fight you. Which is quite hilarious to watch.
