Fort Payne Alabama backyard chickens

I've looked everywhere to try and find my town's ordinance for chickens, and I cannot find anything about them. Nothing expressly says no, but nothing expressly says yes either. I live on 2 acres, but it is residential in city limits. I am just hoping for some help if anyone can provide it.

Welcome to the BYC!! You may have to call the city to find out for sure. Unless you're under an HoA, I would assume you would be cleared as you have acreage. Still, call it in to be safe. Best of luck on your chicken journey, and welcome again!!
