Fort Worth, TX Chicken Newbie

Hello All,
I am in the DFW area, north Fort Worth to be exact, and am brand new to chickens. I don't have any yet, but I have been doing lots of research and will be getting 4 or 5 chicks in a couple weeks when I return from a work trip. I made a brooder for the chickie babies today. Ok, I really only made the lid, but I'm still proud of myself
I can't wait to get started!

Howdy neighbor! I'm in the Denton area. I got my chicks in February and finally started getting eggs around the end of June! I have enjoyed them so much and everyone on this site is so helpful to us newbies. Good luck with your babies!
