Forum section on "Gardening with Poultry"?

ONLY gardening with chickens/ducks/poultry.

soooo are we going to have a thread here about gardening with chickens?

I have such a limited time I have to check out threads I am just wondering if this subject will be here or there? I would rather just post on this board if possible as for me it is more confusing to go back and forth

I think it is very reasonable to have a gardening with chickens thread on a chicken board

I would really like asection not a thread or even a sticky in a section ..but a section would be good because if it grew it would have sub sections...just so it sticks in one place and becomes an important part of this forum ..I know I am new and do not have much to say here ...it is hard enough to keep up in the hit and miss of the day ..there are so many interesting things to read!

Gardening IS the first reason I got chickens (eggs the exciting and fun second) win win in the garden for me! that is why this horrid weather is killing me I have chickens and can not play in the garden ..I am dying here!!! .they are fun to watch and do a lot of work for you in a tractor!!! I am going to be like the local goat renter guy who rents his goats to clear fields I am going to rent my chickens to clear garden beds! They rip it up!!!! dig poop scratch eat dig poop scratch eat...omg I never have to clear a bed again!!!

I know there are others here that are like me ...and want to speak specifically about chickens and gardens and was so glad ot see this as a subject!
chicken and gardens a cosmic combo!!! perfect synergy in a rough economy ..all that!

I agree with Vermont about a flat out Poultry/Garden sticky ? I mean who else is going to talk to us about figuring out a home composter for my worms that will work my garden beds and feed my chickens?
Don't ducks eat slugs with out eating all your produce? I would love to know more about that living int he Pacific NW and having it be our state animal?

I know again I am new and do not know any of you .. but I agree with Vermont and vote yes on a poultry/garden thread specific to poultry in synergy with the garden

anything else I can do to support this cause let me know! we already spend too much time online and not outside doing things i dont want to jump back and forth between forums to talk about two things that should be combined you know?

As Rob has said (quoted below), there won't be a forum section here for gardening with poultry - but you are free to start a thread in the Random Ramblings section, or perhaps the Hobbies section. It's just a click at the bottom of the page (and a one-time signup) to bring you to The Easy Garden.

As stated above, we encourage members to post anything gardening related at TheEasyGarden , but if some members here don't want to join another forum they are allowed to post their questions here on BYC.
