I saw your other post with the picture. I am no dove/pidgeon expert! But That might be a fledgling that has actually intentionally just jumped from the nest to the ground. At around 14 days I believe they leave the nest for good and the parents still feed and monitor them on the ground. From what I’ve read they will learn to fly during this time. They really should be under a bush or low tree for protection, but some end up out in the open. I found one out in our driveway once and wanted to care for it and bring it in, but it’s crop was still full and so I just put it under a low tree and kept an eye on it all day. Turned out parents still were watching it and bringing it food. After a day or so it was learning to fly/jump up into the low branches of the trees and it finally left the area; learned to fly maybe? I’m not sure, your situation might be different. Just thought I’d share my experience
