found a baby somthing ? help !

In California I guess they harass and prevent the swallows from nesting. Needless to say, we took the advice with 'a grain of salt' and promptly ignored it!
 
Just make sure cats and dogs can't get to it, last spring found a baby bird that was not flying so well put it in the tree it flew back to the yard my DD's dog ate it the next day

Starlings are parasite nesters. They lay their eggs in other birds nests. When they hatch, they are so big, they force the real birds babies out of the nest where they fall to their deaths. We shoot starlings all the time because they're over populated and they cause harm to other birds, there was nothing wrong with that vets suggestion.
