I'm really excited as she just kinda.. appeared and I saved her, but Idk what to do with her. I WAS NOT intending on getting a chicken her size, and was leaning towards a duck honestly. BUT. I want to keep her.

Idk, time will tell.

How heavy is it? I was thinking, fat dirty white rock... or a highly skinny skinny skinny broiler (Cornish x). The leg's just don't look wide enough or stout enough for me to say she's a cornish x, but if she's been running free and not eating so much, it's possible. As for age, judging by lack of baby chick fluff, at least 6 weeks old, probably closer to 8. Best of luck!

IM going to guesstimate anythere from 4-7 lbs. I have a 10 pound kitty and she doesnt weight that much.

Theres no way to know how long shes been out, after she begins to eat more and stuff, we'll see..

If she did, indeed, fall off a chicken truck, I'm assuming shes a cornish as well.

Yeah, if she's 4-7 lbs... and that young looking.. she's a cornish x. Probably been out a good while running which is why she looks so thin vs my little meaties that are destroying the grass in their run faster than it can grow back for each rotation.

alright, thanks silkie!

Whats your advice on rehabilitating her?

Should I try? Would I be able to keep her with some Bantams(Millie Fleurs?)

Go ahead and try. Can't hurt. She'll just eat a lot. If you keep feeders high and she gets good examples of what chickens should do from the others, she should be able to live at least a good life, even though it may be short. Hooligan has rescued broilers, so you can ask her about more specifics. I eat my broilers at 8 weeks so I feed them as much as they want.

Alright.. thank you~

Just went out to check on her, my father has a VERY old motorcycle parked out there and shes roosted on top of it. VERY cute.

When Bridgette was younger (this was only a few months ago) she would jump on you and run at break neck speed across the yard jumpping the entire way, but she is getting to be a bigger girl now so besides a swift run every now and again, she's not too active.

I think that this girl being on her own awhile was actually good for her, bc for being about 7lbs she looks small for them. She got some real exercise!
These were my guys the first day I had them and they were about 5lbs:

And after a bath to get a more acurate size:

That is Bob and he was the biggest and still is

And this is PotPie, Bridgette at the feeder (you can see how small she is next to the boys) then big Bob and Himmler.
