Okay, I have worked for a vet as an assistant for 5 years, so here goes a little help if I can. If kitty does not go poo poo inquire with your vet as to what you can give him. If he will eat solid food mix with a water down mix of the mothers milk and can food that will help loosen his bowels and you can ask the vet for worm meds for the kitten but he will want to see him or have you take a stool sample in. Over the counter wormers are too harsh for small kittens and will make them ill and lethargic if too strong. Kitty is too young at this time for rabies shots, if he is 5 to 6 weeks old he can start on kitten shots every 2 weeks for a total of 4 sets of shots. If you do give it mineral oil, and I would not recomend it do not give it very much or you will make him ill when he does heed the need to go. If he has not eaten any solid food and only taken the milk replacement he will not need to poop hardly at all as there is not enough fiber in that to incourage his bowels. 90 percent of kittens have worms that are passed from Mom and I am sure that he does have them especially if his belly is rather bloated. Do Not use flea shampoo on him he is much to young and it will make him very ill. You can use baby shampoo, Dawn dish soap or mild hand soap. Be sure to rinse very well as it will make him itch if you do not. These are very safe alternatives to harsh chemicals on a young kitty. Take him to a vet and have him checked for luekemia and for worms before you expose him to your other cat as these are contagious to other cats,
