Definitely has a king snake head. Not familiar with all the species of king snake, I'm into rat snakes myself, but it's harmless, at that age eats small lizards/mice/birds, anything it can get its mouth on. Baby kings can be a little quick, strikey, and like to musk and fling poo at you when really scared to get you to leave them alone and put them down. If they bite you, it's like getting attacked by sharp velcro. At that age, the most scary thing about them is the little puff of hiss they do when they strike.
King snakes do not require special lighting. Fresh water, aspen/bark/paper substrate (avoid cedar and pine), secure enclosure, a couple hides so it can feel secure. Temps generally in the upper 70's to low 80's.
Great little snakes, nice for rodent control!
