Found a stray chicken in the road hit by a car

It's been quite awhile now, so I figured I'd give a quick update. She's 100% better and acting like a proper sassy hen! She's still clumsy with her jumping, but she can bolt down the hill faster than the roosters when the need calls.



This picture is a month old, so she's finished molting now, her tail is looking beautiful. After some creeping around on google, I've decided she's a black sumatra or at least has some black sumatra in her. She definitely has the giant sumatra tail and shine to her.
