Found an abandoned duckling

I believe they are. Its constantly trying to jump out the broader. Its

Did the mom look like any of these? Some of the pictures are of males bu it may help

Its a wood duck duckling. They're very hard to raise, they don't eat very well. You need to find some Mazuri Waterfowl Starter to feed it, it's the only feed suitable for this kind of duck.

It could be a Mallard, but many of the females of non-domestic ducks look similar to Mallard females so it's anyone's guess at this point.
The mirror is a good idea too. When I raised baby turkeys I got a little mirror for parakeets from walmart and they loved looking at it.

I had a rescued one for a while too. It was missing a leg thanks to a car, and it died at 3 months old due to complications from the missing leg.

Do you have just the one wood duck duckling?

They don't really eat out of containers like a chick would, they need to have feeding times. You lead it to a tub of water, (remember, no oil glands so only for a couple minutes in warm water. Towel dry it really well afterwards and then put it under a heat lamp) sprinkle in the mazuri starter, which floats, and pick at it. It will eat. Then do it 3 times a day. Morning, afternoon, and night. You can also set it on the floor and offer it live bugs like cut up live mealworms that are still wiggling, and little grasshoppers and crickets. Mine especially loved green duck weed.

Do you have just the one wood duck duckling?

Yes, they said that the mom and siblings were seen earlier but abandoned it and are no longer around the area.
