I'm guessing mixed breed, Your so lucky your daughter found it! Hope you have fun raising it. I definitely think it's best to start introducing it into the flock when it's somewhere between 4-8 weeks. If they don't get along with it, then put it in a crate or a separate section of the pen so the chickens slowly get to know it.
