Found chick with hurt foot...

While moving the flock to their new coop today I found my 5 wk old chick with a hurt foot. She was bleeding. I put some bag balm on it and am keeping her separate from the others. Should she be separated until she is completely healed?
We have a large guinea Pig cage. Can I section part of it off and house them side by side while she heals? TIA

You would be better off to keep her as much a part of flock as possible. They heal pretty quick. If chick can get around to eat/drink/roost I might not even segregate. If others pick on her, then of course put her in cage so they can not hurt her until healed.
