Found chicken in coop with head missing

Well, my father in law helped me put some more wire over the part of the coop that wasn’t covered. Hoping this will do the trick. No more gaps for any critters to get in from the top.

18 month speckled Sussex can't seem to walk today and kind of just flops to side. She will eat turkey , worms or grapes but not crumbles and giving electrolytes. Seems alert , no sinus discharge, crop does feel full and squishy . So we massaged crop and gave a little olive oil. Poop is like pure water and odorous. She seems to like massages. Anybody have any ideas. She is moulting.

Just a shot in the dark but perhaps sour crop. Open her mouth and check for an unpleasant odor or such. My chickens are young so I haven't experienced a molt but the poo situation sounds possibly dangerous.

Also I would recommend starting a new thread so more people can see it and give advice, hopefully that doesn't sound unkind, I just thought it might help your chickie get the help she needs

Hope the wire works! As a last resort do you have a trap, may have to come to that as raccoons are the worst and clever.
