Found dead hen this morning

When my husband went out to the chicen coop this am, he found in one of our nests a dead hen. She never appeared anything but healthy. My hens have just started laying. Anyone have any ideas as to what happend?

So sorry, with chickens it could have been a lot of things, she could have been egg bound or suffered a heart attack or could have had worms or other things that would be hard to notice..... so sorry about your girl.

We are in Mississippi, and it has been in the 90's during the day and 70's during the night.
