You're very right, it is good to try... temp needs to get to 37° I believe, since you use Celsius, lol...
Shoe box is just fine for now, humidity can be worried about later, temp is most important...
From candling pics though, I will say that they might not have made it... they don't look quite right, but until they're up to temp I'd keep going for now... once they're nice and toasty warm for a while, then candle again and look for movement...![]()
I will keep trying and will move them to the bowl later today
right now they are at about 28C. Even if they don't make it I am still going to foster some from Bird Rescue later on this year (they get overloaded with ducklings!), about a year or so ago we had this cheeky one, the Mother duck only had this one duckling, she would fly off for hours and leave it in the garden, as you can see it got very friendly:
