Found duck on road!

I found a Pekin duck on the side of the road, and now i am caring for it. I have questions.

How long can i keep the duck alone for?

How long is quarantine?

What do i feed it?

How can i tell age?

Something like Purina Flock Raiser or Nutrena All Flock

It will be happiest with another duck, so just do your best to find another as quickly as possible.

It will need other Ducks and possibly came from a farm close by.
Does it Quack or Rasp?...Hens Quack.
Needs feed. A finisher feed is best being it's a meat bird.

I take in rescue Ducks. Never quarantine them. Yes it can go out. Feed that if it's laying. I don't feed layer feed. I supply oyster shell in a separate bowl

I would quarantine it for 30 days because ducks do get diseases like mycoplasma. Better to be safe than sorry.

If it's laying eggs that will be fine. If not laying eggs look for an all flock feed.
