Found free old shed...

If you decide to get it take LOTS and LOTS of pictures of all of the angles to help avoid confusion when putting it back together

You can always tear it down board by board, and rebuild it the way you want at home.

chick4kids, I like your critter trap, I had a hav-a-hart that I loaned out to a friend for a coon, that coon destroyed the trip mechanism, had to completely rebuild it. Have you had any problems with the critters ruining your traps.

TheWaddler had some great suggestions & sound logic. One other idea--if you're going to try to re-assemble it exactly, number the boards w/ a sharpie & make sketches or take pics. I have some friends that dis-assembled a fairly large horse barn, moved it from NC to VA, then put it back up. Of course, as 3forfree suggested, if it could be hauled intact on a rollback, that would sure save a lot of labor. Good luck--I'd love to stumble onto a deal like that!

That will make a sweet setup!. May be a bear to move, but will be worth it later. Is it by chance on skids? That will make it a bit easier for the car hauler to pll it up. If not some posts or pipes to roll it on to the truck. A flat bed tow truck is the way to go if you can get one. I bought an 8x10 and had them pick it up for me. It went well. Good luck and send us pics of the progress..

Some folks have more time than money. If you got the time go for it, I would in a hearbeat. Take lots of photos after you mark the pieces with a paint stick.

I totally agree! I don't have $1000 handy, but I've got all my weekends and evenings to dedicate to working on my coop and finding supplies. I think the key for me would be to find at least one family member or friend with some DIY know-how to help.

I don't have the money and only a little know-how. My husband has more know-how and likes to do that stuff, its getting him off his butt to do it! Once he gets started, he's all about it! I haven't heard back from the people though. Oh I want it, want it, want it! I'm probably gonna rent a truck from home depot. I wonder if we could do it all in one piece.

I like the idea of free and it looks nice, but I would have to agree check the wood rot and maybe you could salvage it to make another building.

My husband said yes!!!!! sort of. He says we can look at it and maybe get it this weekend, if the people ever get back to me
