Help!

I have zero experience with Guinea fowl. We found 4 keets just out in tall grass. It was pouring rain and 12 degrees Celsius last night.

I’ve got them inside warming them.
They are currently what I would describe as ‘semi conscious’.

Any advice welcome

They are not like chickens, and would need a high protein gamebird food. If you don’t have one, I would recommend getting a heat lamp for the birds.

I have them warming on a heating pad. I have nothing except some layer ration left over from a long while ago.

They are perking up a bit now that they are warming up but still not doing well.

Do you think they will need electrolytes?

I’ve called around to neighbours and no one has Guinea fowl. I have found some turkey starter a neighbour has offered to help.

I’m making a list. Heat lamp. I do have an incubator. I don’t know how much heat they would need.

I don’t see it hear any Guinea fowl around.

One passed. The other three have their legs under them now and I made a makeshift sad brooder box for them in a laundry hamper.

Do you have any eggyolk you can feed the keets? The layer ration probably doesn’t have the right concentrations of essential amino acids for them.
They are adorable! I’m hoping the others can pull through.

When keets have been chilled it's hard to keep them alive. Make sure they are getting dry and are warm. 95 degrees. Scramble an egg and mash it up fine. It's the best food you can give them and it has almost every nutrient they need. Good luck.

I will do that for them. The three survived the night. They are walking around a little. I am heading to town to buy proper heating and feed for them.

They are still alive and really perking up on the scrambled eggs.
I have a proper heater and thermometer for them and they are far more active.
