She's not broody. She sits on them at night (apparently since shes on her nest in the morning and they're very warm) but not during the day.

Once in a while they will lay a double yolker if incubated it would mean twins but they very seldom live. I'd go ahead and take the 5 out and toss before you get a stinky mess. with the heat most of the country is having eggs won't last long. If not ready to commit just take the eggs daily, she won't care. I have to do this as I have no room left in the inn so to speak.Yes, and not any of the five are showing veins. She's been laying 2 a day except one day she laid one. We've been eating those. Bout to give up on the 5. Might make an incubator and see if the ones she lays this week are fertilized. But not sure if I'm ready to commit to babies.
Got two yolks in one egg today. What's that mean? Twins?
