Found Mallard Egg?

Hello!

I know that people have mallards and I found what looks to be a mallard egg in my backyard. I looked all around for a nest but don't see one anywhere! Would I be allowed to incubate it and give it to a wildlife center if it hatches?

Have you candled it? You could take it to a rescue if they'll accept it now. Otherwise, like the others said, just dispose of it.
