Found missing chicken!

One of our chickens has been missing since April first. Today when we started an old truck, it wouldn't run right. They opened the hood and there was the chicken! Skinny and hungry but seemed to be ok. I thought she was a goner for sure! I think someone got pics, I'll try to post them later.

So glad you found your girl! I'd love to know how she got in there, and why she didn't try to alert anyone that she was there!

Oh wow--that's amazing! What a strange place to get stuck. Poor girl, I'm glad she's all right. It's remarkable that she's still alive. Hopefully she'll recover quickly and easily and not have any more incidents like that ever again!

I lost one in December and found it in March... It was very skinny and sick.... I euthanized it but it was a relief to have found it anyway... I got to put her out of her misery.
