Well I now have 3 whites, all in the front of my hair. It will be interesting to see what happens during summer swim season, the cholorine usually lightens up the auburn some.

Does gray hair start growing from the roots or does the whole strand of hair just turn gray ?

I started going grey (white) at 18. Colored my hair for many years, and finally cut it all off and started from scratch. It took sooooo long to grow out! What a pain in the butt!

I used to have auburn hair- I don't know if your original hair color has anything to do with what kind of grey you have- I just figured it was hereditary. Mom & Gram had the same thing. Started out like the bride of Frankenstein and worked it's way back

so far I'm lucky. Why do you think I keep my hair uuuuber short when I'm not growing for l4l? hahaha I have the Mr. Incredible thing going.
