Found Silkie hen upside down in hole in run, lethargic, won't stand...

This is the only thing they had at the feed store. It's an electrolyte vitamin mixture.

Hope its not the same as granny hatchet...check....sick or shock thread.

I put her out in the front lawn this morning to see how she stands and she has been walking around pecking at the grass. Once she sat down awkwardly with her legs out in front of her but she's waddling around now. Going to keep giving her the vitamin/electrolyte water and see how she does. Her crop is full of seed. She has access to as much as she can handle, do I have to worry about overfeeding or should I let her have 24 hour access to seed?

Do you normally just feed silkies seed? I'm not a silkie expert, but I would think a diet composed mainly of just seed would be deficient in some nutrients. When you say seed, do you mean just scratch? I would think they should be on complete chicken layer ration or something like that.
Also, if you want to see more options for vitamins and minerals etc., check out some online poultry or livestock suppliers like Jeffers.

All my chickens are free range but I feed them 1 scoop of a mix from the feed store called Calexico and it's a mixture of a few different seeds and such. The lady at the feed store said that this would be a good mix for me. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...hhCTE8U1_B9ccMVoA&sig2=tBGDvsdvS0pAk_Z6LZSjuQ
She's walking fine, eating and drinking on her own. She's in the garage for one more night and everyone is getting dewormed tomorrow.

Is the feed you are using a properly balanced chicken feed? One of the most important items to ensure your birds are kept healthy is feeding them a properly balanced chicken feed which contains all the vitamins/nutrients/protein/calcium etc. Even when free ranged, they still require a properly balanced diet and should have access to it daily.
