I guess I should be a little clearer about this.As long as your pen is big enough.For 4 birds your pen should be at least 10x10,with multiple perching areas,not so hi that a varmit can reach down thru and grab them.I like a 6 foot hi pen so I can walk thru without having to duck down.I'll post pics of my pens and if you need to ask any ?'s,feel free to ask.Flight is their only defense,so if you clip his wings he will not be able to fly up and hopefully out of danger.Check craigslist for a few hens for him as they are aggressive breeders.Even if you don't want to breed him,you can not stop natures course.At least 2 hens 3 if you can.Or you can have a pen with just males,different breeds if you want,but,you must put them in at the same time.You can not add any birds to this pen once it is established.He is young enough so get some the same age and they should get along fine.Absolutely no hen pheasants around them or there will be a blood bath.
