Found these abandoned, what breeds?

Once he was old enough to be released we brought him to our Nature Center where they cared for him in captivity with a few other ducks. When we first brought him over, all the ducks walked normally... then after a few weeks of visiting the people at the NC told us all the ducks had started to walk like him! It was hilarious! I don’t know why they did that, maybe someone here does, but it
It was also so sweet and I’m glad he got to live that long life
That is too funny.. and amazing! Cool share. :love

Why is it that creatures learn the not good habits.. instead of the other way around?!

Animals learn quickly.. maybe they noticed he was getting something special.. Or maybe they just didn't see anything wrong with it and felt like connecting on a deeper level.. I used to enjoy connecting with other Vette drivers.. Now it's chicken keepers.. so maybe they just created something in common to chat about that was new and interesting. Silly animals! :p

Also nutritional requirements will differ quite a bit as they grow
Once old enough (maybe 8 ish weeks?).. switching from a game bird starter to a flock raiser with 20% protein would likely be sufficient. But I wouldn't go that low for the keet starting off.. with what little I do know.

@casportpony do have any thoughts here? TIA

You could be Joey or Chandler from Friends.... you’ve got yourself your own Chick and a Duck!!

Good job you found them 💜 and that really is the cutest picture of them both! I’ve no idea about ducks or keets... but good luck!
