They'll spit the egg out real quick when they realize you have ahold of their tail and are dragging them out of the nesting box.

Found that out last week.

Looks like the rare black spotted egg sucker to me. Here we have the rattle headed copper moccasin ya have to watch for.

Here's the Conservation Office for ya.... My boss lives on land that is part of a Turkey reserve. They were running low on Pygmy Rattlers, so they let loose 500 of the little buggars, now I have to watch every step I take, & every rock I pick up. How smart was that?
