NO NOT 4! There are only 2 in there and now the only one laying, it seems is Karessa. No other houses have eggs in them but hers. Every other day like clockwork, you can count on an egg.
But don't you know that my wonderful husband came in with this mornings egg headed for the incubator. I yelled to him to ask him where he thought he was going with that egg and he replied to the incubator. I don't think so!
I am NOT having a ton of goslings in my house this winter!!
He put his head down and put it in the egg basket on the table.

This made me think of a little boy getting scolded by his mom
Maybe you can let him "own" one of the eggs already in the incubator
.
As I was just rereading it, it does sound like it, doesn't it?!? LOL
My poor hubby! He's such a great man too!! He already has 3 house chickens in our parrot house. A Splash Sizzle from Camelot Farms that was supposed to be mine, he stole her from me! Then a Columbian Wyandotte, and a Black bantam cochin hen.
I couldn't find them and he fessed up that he had brought them inside our parrot house "as the clean up crew" for when the macaws throw their parrot seed on the floor. <eyeroll>
Oh it gets better...we're driving through VA today and he says, "I don't know what we're going to do with all the new ducklings that are going to be hatching, with this snow and cold weather that's coming this weekend." I whipped my head around, "what new ducklings are going to be hatching?"
Oh well it seems as though there are 4 nests in our Muscovy house with Mama's sitting on them!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I knew that one had eggs that are due to hatch any time now. But I told him that I didn't want any more sitting and if he saw more eggs in there to take them. Well he "felt bad" so he let them have them.
He says that each duck has 8 to 10 eggs or more under her. I'm gonna kill him yet!!! I swear!
