Four-month old chicken cannot hold head up at night, but ok during day.

Just this one. There may be a genetic link to wry neck syndrome, making this individual more sensitive to a nutritional imbalance. If this is what's behind these symptoms, you should see dramatic improvement in a very short time.

I agree with @azygous It does look like wry neck. She has given you good information about adding Vitamin E and Selenium. I also suggest that you give her B Vitamins (especially B1) in addition to the E and Selenium. You can crush 1/2 of a B-Complex tablet (no iron) and add that to her food as well.

I hope she gets better soon.

Wry neck is a symptom. It can happen after a head or neck injury, vitamin E or thiamine deficiency, from heredity, and is seen in some infectious diseases. Make sure that he is getting enough to eat and drink, or you may need to wet his feed, and hold him to eat. Hopefully, he will get over this soon.

Thank you every one for the help. I am on my way to the pharmacy. I did have some brewer's yeast that I already added this morning. When I get back, I will make sure that she eats and drinks. I am just so thankful that it isn't merks.

Glad you posted a video. I agree that is not normal. Odd that it clears during the day.

Treat with the vitamins suggested and keep us posted.

You are in the window period of Marek's, but other things produce wry neck too as mentioned above.

If it is vitamin deficiency, you should note improvement within a few days and complete resolution within a week or two, although wry neck can be a bit more stubborn.

As azygous said, a picture is worth a thousand words.
I was picturing roosting birds with their heads hanging down, not a bird standing on the floor. Do they always have light at night?

No they usually do not have light at night. I was up early and got the chicken out of my bathroom and brought her into my bedroom to get the video. When I put her to bed she was fine but when I woke up at 4:30 I saw that she was all crooked and decided to get the video right then.

Good news! My girl is acting normal. I let her sleep in my bedroom last night. She snuggled up to me and was fine the whole night. I am so pleased. Thank you so much for helping her.
Cool Beans!
Did you give her any vitamins other than the brewers yeast?
