Update. We still have just the three hens, and they definitely have fowl pox. The injured bird has developed it significantly around her eyes. I'm treating the lesions with hydrogen peroxide on all of them. I've also added Terramycin to their water in case of wet pox, which I haven't seen yet. I think they are going to pull through ok. They haven't had a drop in egg production, but I've been tossing the eggs since I noticed the infection. I'm a bit of a germaphobe, and refuse to expose myself or family to any potential threat. How long should I expect the virus to last? It's been two weeks or more already.
