Fowl pox or LT?

There is a modified live vaccine that does not create carriers.

ETA: Most of the directors of the ABC vaccinate for ILT with the modified vaccine and show.

Hello hello
If you are still there (23h30 in France - I have to go to bed soon): did you see my post about the "empty" throat of the dead chicken, apart from a bit of whitish liquid and four or five white pinhead spots? our cock's breath sounded a bit "bubbly" tonight (not rasping, but like there's liquid in there), but we peered down his throat (right down the the trachea) - no lesions
What are we dealing with?
Merci!

That definitely doesn't sound like wet pox to me.
My chickens had large cheesy growths and there was no foaming at all

I remember reading about something similar that had symptoms like you described but i would have to look it up i don't remember the name of it.

No, you can vaccinate if they have the disease active. All it can do is help. If you think im lying I talked to a doctor at a poultry lab and that is where this info is coming from. Go ahead and call him at 830-672-2834
