fowl pox with secondary swollen and foamy eye

OK, finally got the final report back. The Pseudomonas aeruginosa is resistant to both the Tetracycline and tylosin, which I had guessed, but it's good to have confirmation. The other two bacteria are susceptible to nearly everything listed.

All three bacteria are susceptible to: Ciprofloxacin, Gentamicin, Moxifloxacin, Neomycin, Norfloxacin, Ofloxacin, Polymyxin B, and Tobramycin.

I'm not seeing many of those antibiotics available readily available without a script, except for Neomycin which is available as a water supplement, not injection. It's also contraindicated for laying hens.

Are there certain name or trade brands I should be looking for?

Ciprofloxacin...there might be others. Here's a link:

I bet I can find Fish Flox at a local aquarium store. Do you know the dosage? i can't find anything other than BYC thread that mentions it in passing.

Here's the relevant part of the final report:

Enrofloxacin wasn't mentioned. Isn't that Baytril?

I have a bottle of Fish Flox pills arriving tomorrow.

I also have a tube of polymyxin b sulfate and tretracycline ophthalmic solution left over from a recent cat pinkeye infection I can use. I don't like using ophthalmic gel on this hen since it makes her scratch at the eye, further irritating it. I'd rather pill or inject her.

Well, I've already ordered and paid for the Cipro, so I'm stuck with them. In the links you listed, they give dosage but not frequency or duration. From what I've read it's 5mg/kg twice a day for 3-5 days, or should it be different?

I just found this in my Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook:
