Fowl Poxx Vaccination - side effects

I just vaccinated everyone this morning, i get so sick of them getting fowl pox at this particular time of year just when the rainy season starts.

SO... I vaccinated about 50 chickens today with the supplied wing stabber.. (anyone who didn't get it last year plus the newbies).

Now this afternoon my up and coming rooster Sam (5 mos old) is looking bad and has started sneezing.. I checked the other chicks (most about 3 mos old) I saw one that didn't look too promising..

I have given him tylan to attempt nip it in the bud if it is something else but I am wondering if there is collateral damage or fallout from the vaccination..

I really hope not, he is my black tailed buff marans and i only have one ...

I checked on him late last night and he doesn't look any worse, he is still in quarantine for a while..

Update. He is looking great and I didn't lose anyone. Must have been just me panicking ...

He's 5 months i'm thinking it's about time to get him some girlfriends..

Just a quick update.

in General,
I found that a couple of birds had a short bout of mild symptoms that passed quickly and i had NO incidences of fowl pox
illness all summer, all through the mosquito season..

Definitely something i will do with all my birds in the future.
