I have a handsome rooster with fowlpox virus. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to take care of this. My vet doesn’t deal with chickens. It’s not very bad yet so I’m hoping there is something I can do.

Not too sure kept him in the garage during cold weather and put vaseline on him and the others and he’s the only one who ended up with the spots How can I tell the difference?Are you sure its fowlpox? It could be frostbite.

There is nothing you really can do. Vaseline is a good idea, it has worked for me before. Also, make sure the coop is well ventilated.That’s good news then. Is there something I should do for the frostbite?
