I looked and it is 1.5. The prior vet visit, she Rx'd 2cc once a day, and that hen is quite smaller than she is, so I felt ok giving her that amount. Is that good? The vet really wasn't anything to brag about. She was not nearly as helpful as this website. Thank you!
Yes! It's scaring me! We did go fix the roof area where it went in. For three years it seemed to be very safe yet this one very small corner that sucker went right in under the deer fencing. The wall is like 6.5 or 7 feet! We may just tack on an entire full sheet of plywood 8' tall right there because I think the mesh on the fencing allow it to get a lift onto the roof. Very scary!! I am so scared it will be back!! I do think that sucker will. My hens will be locked up tight.
Thank you. My oldest daughter came by this morning and we fixed the area. Tonight when husband gets home we'll take even more precautions before dark. I'm so scared. They've been in it for three years and this has never happened : \Ursuline, I've no advice, but wanted to say how very sorry I am that this happened. Good luck with your girl. Foxes do have babies this time of year and will certainly come back especially with mouths to feed. so be prepared if you can.
She seems to be going in and out of a wakefulness. Right now, she's out again. : \So glad she is doing better, was beginning to worry
I'm still undecided about the Clavamox, but my gut keeps telling me she might need it. Just don't know if it's insult to injury at the moment. It's really nasty thick stuff and not sure how well she's digesting currently. Her crop wasn't too full this morning, now I do feel it's a tad spongier. Would that be from the water?
I'm trying to upload a video but it won't let me
