Greetings!
I was wondering if there was any further information on this injury/recovery? We awoke this morning to find on of our ducks in the pen with her neck injured, similar to the pictures posted. The pen is lined with electric fence and even hardware cloth along the bottom, except at the door, where we found feathers outside... It looks as though her neck skin has been torn apart, but she wasn't bleeding too bad. We flushed the wound with batadine and wrapped it with some gauze to stop the bleeding and have her in a box with a heating pad and water in a dark room as she was understandably upset. I am heading out now to try and clean her up better with warm water and access the wound better. She is not used to being held though and its difficult to keep her still and calm while trying to hold her! I was going to start a new thread but this one looked pretty close to my situation. Any help would be well received!
