Fox attacked my rooster!

Hi so this morning I wake up to find that a fox has broken into my hen house killed my rooster and taken the body.
He was called poppy.
This is what I found this morning:

I don't understand. Is your hen house made of chicken wire? I've had a look at your coop page but the house isn't shown well.

I’m asking because the fox will be back and if your coop is insecure you’ll lose the rest of your flock.
Chicken wire alone wont keep many predators out for long.

There's chicken wire to make a coop
And he dug under it.I keep them in a hen house at night and let them Romp in the pen in the day he got into the hen house beacause by accident I didn't shoot the bolt all the way and he nudged it over with his nose

I'm sorry you've lost your rooster, but at least now you know where the weak link is.
That fox will be back.

Sorry for your loss...
A good way to prevent further chicken losses by fox is to put an 'apron' of chicken wire on the ground all around the run (about 1m) This will help because foxes can't tunnel underground very easily, and can only dig away at the base of the run to make a hole big enough for them to squeeze in

But if you haven't already got a strong frame a fox could probably break into the run without digging if desperate, so...
