If she won't drink on her own, you need to give the fluids to her with an oral syringe. Here's how to do it safely.

I put a bowl of water in for her though haven't seen her drink. She's still alive this morning bless her.

Chickens are fighters! It's amazing what they can recover from. I think if they amputate the bit of the bone and stitch the skin back together, (as long as there's no infection) she'll be able to adapt wonderfully.

Did it get ahold of her wing, too? It might just be my eyes, but it looks like a few wing feathers have parts missing.

I think it lost a couple of feathers. At the vets now. He has advised to euthanize it on conpassionate grounds. sob. Has said it would likely get bumblefoot on the other leg with all the extra weight. Cost to amputate just for reference he thought about £550.

If she was 'only' missing a wing, I would try to save her as chickens do not necessarily have to use their wings to get about. But a missing leg would be where I draw the line and would have put her out of her misery.

How will she ever be able to move about or stand up in the nest to lay an egg? Unless she would be provided with a very well fitting artificial limb that is.

You need to find a way to get the bone back in place. If possible.
