"Well, I have seen people feed foxes, it seems to be getting more popular to see people feeding wild animals." Midna said. "But I don't know if I trust them."

"Oh, yeah, um, I should explain why I'm so protective of my pups." Midna said. "I used to live in a place where if you don't risk your own life for your pups you don't get to keep them, all the foxes were hungry and so the more dominant males would pick off all of the pups from the weakest ones, so I began to learn that if I don't give my life for them, they won't survive. I moved here since I didn't want any of my pups to get eaten, and I left a lot behind. But I still thought that foxes would try to eat my babies and so when a male was behind me, close to my babies I thought he was going to try to take one." Midna explained.
 
Vasper looks at the Midna with even more admiration. He ventured a little closer to her and said. "I really want to apologize for my brother, Sebastian. he's just a pup sometimes and he doesn't understand the ramifications of his actions." he paused. "and giving your history with males, I'm deeply sorry, I should have intervened."

"It's alright. At least he wasn't actually trying to hurt my pups." She said kindly.

Ashton had been listening to the whole conversation and decided that she wanted to let her presence be known. Because She really wanted to meet all these foxes.
she made a slight noise as she came out from the undergrowth, trying very hard not to startle them.
