Sebastian follows Midna and quietly ask, "Why is grumpy face always so mean to me? He never lets me do anything fun."
"I don't really know. He's probably worried. It's like me and my pups, I used to not let them go out of my site because I don't want them to get hurt. Maybe if you proved you would be cautious he would let you do things you wanted to." Midna told him.

Sebastian bowed his head in compliance," I try Midna, I just always get distracted."

"You'll get there. You just need something to be responsible for, then you'll be focused on being safe, but I bet you'll still want to play and have fun. I think that's a good quality." Midna said sweetly.

(I have to go but I'll probably be back in about an hour or so)

Ashton finally made it back home, but it was late and Misty met her at the cat door. "Where have you been, little one?I've been worried about you." Misty quarried.
Ashton sat down by her mom. "Oh, you needn't worry about me. I was coming home. You know I was."
Misty got up and rubbed her cheek lovingly into Ashton's shoulder
"I just worry, that's a mother's job. I just don't understand why you spend all your days in the woods. You have a life here. Victor misses seeing you around the house." her mother said, purring her contentment that her daughter was home safe.
Ashton felt pure guilt for not telling her mother the true reason she went to the woods day after day. Afraid she would take it the wrong way and be hurt by it. So she kept it a secret. But, to herself she could be true. She couldn't be a domesticated animal. She wanted to connect with her fellow foxes. The foxes she had met today. she had no disillusions, she knows she has a good life here. For just hearing the heartaches and the day to day struggles that the wild foxes had to endure. Brought pain to her very soul. But she couldn't live and not know who she was meant to be? Where she had been taken from? How could she when such a large piece of her was missing forever. Her mom, being born a domesticated cat, would never understand the wildness that raged in her heart.
If she had to live within these four walls each and every day, she would suffocate.
Ashton looked up because it was suddenly quiet. Her mom was watching her with worried eyes.
"What?" Ashton asked nervously.
" I said are you coming to bed?" Misty repeated.
"Oh, yes mother, I'll be right up."
Misty came back over and sat beside her again and leaned into her. "You know, you can tell things. Something has been bothering you....what is it sweetie?"
Ashton wanted to confide in her mother but she couldn't form the words.
"Alright, I won't pry" her mom finally says. "Come on, it's late." She follows her mother up the stairs.
