Mary laughed and smiled at him. She smelled something sweet and walked to the house. Jack was making little fried apple pies. (THEY'RE SO GOOD)

"Yeah, this morning, but I think he might've gone in the woods..." She said alarmed. "She wanted to help that horrid Ashton. He felt bad for her." She said angrily. "I wouldn't be surprised if she tried to kill him too." She mumbled.
 
Dakota laughed as he got to the edge of the pond. He wagged his tail and followed Mary.

She came in and there were many little pies. She snuck on the table while Jack wasn't looking and took one, giving it to Dakota.
