Bobby hid in the snow, almost completely burying himself, except for his eyes, he stayed perfectly still, waiting for a rabbit to come around, a mouse scuttered by and he so wanted to catch it, but he refrained, it was cold and he was getting a little impatient, when a rabbit finally started nosing around near him, he could almsot put his paw out and touch the rabbit, he counted down 3, 2, 1 and he leapt, but when he tackled the rabbit the rabbit noticed him, kicking him before scampering off, bobby frowning returned to jesus, wet, cold, shivering, and defeated.

Amari watched Sebastian and Nina until they were out of sight. She knew something very profound had just happened. She looked behind her as Damon came running up to her and then looked back at the woods.

Damon looked to where she was looking, but couldn't see anything. "What is it? What happened, is something wrong?" he asked.

She said reflectively, "Life happened, we are all on our own paths in this world. What we believe to be the right way and what we know to be the right way. Sometimes takes us in two different directions. Sebastian and Nina, choose the path they needed right now and they did it without hesitation." She explained with admiration.

"Should we go after him? What if Vasper blames us for scaring his brother off?" Damon asked almost alarmed.

She looked at Damon and said, "We can find them if we need to. But let's leave him be for now. Tell Vasper nothing of this." She looked back at the woods, while smiling to herself. Then absently added, "Let's give him a head start."

Bobby nodded appreciatively, "Thank you" He said, then brushed past Jesus, a sign of friendship, and he wen't to the old building, quickly falling asleep in the low rafters.
 
Jesus went in the house and got in his bed.

Ruby fed her pups, drooling as she smelled the wonderful smell of Jacks food he made for them.
 
Confident that the threat was gone Vasper went to where Damon had gone. Coming around the side of the house he saw them standing there looking at the woods. Puzzled but not wanting to pry he asked, "Are you two going to behave your selves? Or are you looking for trouble too?"

They both looked at him. But it seemed that Amari had a little bit of sadness in her eyes. Where Damon seemed to be looking everywhere, except at him. How odd these foxes were, Vasper thought.

Damon spoke up, "That was never our intention in the first place, Vasper. We came to meet the other foxes, but if their as hostile, maybe we should leave."

Vasper said, "If your still interested, then come along with me. Maybe we can do this with out the drama."

Mary chatted with Chief, talking about life in general, how she wanted to have pups, EXT. Midna arrived from surgery, her pups were spending their last day at the house with Midna.
 
Sebastian felt really guilty about not saying goodbye to everyone. But he knew, if he had said goodbye, especially to Vasper, he never would have let him go. He was just that kind of big brother. Sebastian knew if he stayed, Vasper would never be able to live his own life. This was for the best, he told himself. He also needed to get away from Mary. It ripped his heart out seeing her bonding with Dakota. Sebastian liked Dakota too much, to let these resentful emotions ruin their friendship. He believed Dakota deserved his happiness. He really did wish them the best. Sebastian just couldn't be there to witness it. He glanced at Nina and thought, this "This little one......" But he had to pause, in order to hold back the tears that wanted to come. Because when he had thought that, he'd heard Vasper's voice saying it. Collecting himself, he finished his thought, "This little one, needed him now and that gave his life a new purpose. Sebastian looked back down at Nina and smiled at her sweetly.

Everyone got up to welcome Midna. She had no bandage on her eye, it was sowed up, cleaned, and fixed. She smiled at them.
