Nina ran through the bush, right into the faces of three wolves, she skidded to a stop, then quickly backpedaled through the bushes, "RUN!" She yelled, not at all playfully.

"You are a rare beauty, Ruby. Thank you very much for sharing your friendship with me. I will not let you regret it. I promise." Amari leaned in to lick Ruby's paws.

She smiled sweetly. "I will not regret anything. And thank you, the same to you. I am not the type of fox to throw friends in the ditch and leave." She said nicely to her and smiled. The pups crawled out of the den and yawned, Ruby smiled at their adorable fluffy faces.

Morello became alarmed by Nina yelling, his tail held high and his ears pricked forward alertly

She smiled sweetly. "I will not regret anything. And thank you, the same to you. I am not the type of fox to throw friends in the ditch and leave." She said nicely to her and smiled. The pups crawled out of the den and yawned, Ruby smiled at their adorable fluffy faces.

Amari laughed at them. "Such curious little things." She said happily. "Damon's back." She said absently.

Damon came running back with a very large raccoon in his mouth. He placed it in front of Ruby. Then backed away, only mildly out of breath. He smiled with pride at Amari. She smiled and nodded her approval. Damon looked back at Ruby and grinned. He finally got down on the ground to rest.

"Oh my! What a feast!" She said. The pups ran up to the raccoon and sniffed it. "Thank you very much. We all can eat, or, if you want to." Ruby told them. "We'll go to bed full, I believe!" She said, very grateful.

"Thank you, I'm very grateful." She said and tore it apart. She gave some to Amari, the pups, and Damon. She took a big chunk for herself. "I need to eat so much, I feel like a pig." She said and chuckled. She always needed extra food to make milk for the pups.
