"Oh, okay. Sometimes it gets on my nerves how a fox sees one bad person and they can't trust anyone. I've had my fair share of bad people, but I just put my fate in Jack's hands." Ruby said. That's one reason she hated Nina.

Amari got up from playing with the two pups and went over to Ruby. She looked questioning at Damon then, looked back at her. Amari said softly, " We already told you how we feel about your Jack. What has really started this outburst, Ruby? What are you keeping inside that hurts you so?"

"I don't know, I've just been in a bad mood. It's my fault." Ruby said. "I guess it's just the foxes, maybe. All the ones who hate, who kill and hate and kill and hate." Ruby said, she was just kinda in her own little space, thinking about all the foxes she hated deep inside.

Amari went up next to Ruby and sat down so their sides touched. She then looked sideways at her and said, " It's okay and natural to want to get some space. So be angry and hate other foxes. Because foxes tend to be solitary creatures. But every once in awhile, it's good to have a friend or two. Like in these woods, Damon and I have learned, that there is safety in numbers. That's against our natural order, but here it works.

"Yeah...I just want to get away. You know, Red probably is mad, and Mary will ask questions, and everyone would want to here the story, when I just want to keep it to myself and it annoys me. So I am glad I found you guys and can just relax." She said and sighed.

Amari bumped her with her shoulder and smiled. "You'll be bright as the sun after the rain." She stated encouragingly.

Ruby smiled. "Thanks." She said. She got up, it was actually about to pour rain. "I'm going to prepare the den for rain, I didn't cover it at first, but now I should." Ruby said and got to work, putting thick leaves and moss over the den.

"We often use evergreen branches to cover the entrance with. They can be positioned in place after your inside the den and it allows for air movement. Damon can go get some if you like?" Amari added helpfully.

"Sure, if you'd like." Ruby said nicely.
