)He smiled. "Well, I'll give the rest to the wolves, then, so it won't go to waste." Hans said. He went a little ways away and threw it. "They'll smell the blood. I'm sure they'll find it." Hans said. He crawled into the den and yawned, smiling at Rieve.
Rieve got up and stretched before heading into the den. She curled up next to Hans and yawned as well. "This is such a nice den, Hans. You put a lot of work into it." She smiled at him and licked him on the cheek. "Thank you for making room in your life for me." She added sweetly.
He nuzzled her. "You're welcome. I was happy to do it." He said sweetly to her and dozed off to sleep.
Rieve watched him sleep for a while, then she smiled and nuzzled in closer to him. She finally drifted off to sleep.
The next morning Hans slept longer than usual, there was no need to get up and find Rieve because she was there.
Rieve stretched out along side Hans. She was watching the trees sway in the breeze though the opening in the den. She was reflecting on how her life had changed, since she had met Hans. She grinned to herself.
Hans finally awoke and stretched. He lay on his belly and yawned. "Good morning." He said, tired.
