"You're welcome to eat." Hans told her when he saw she wasn't eating. He ate a little less than half and left the rest for Rieve. "I hope you aren't disturbed by me trying to find animals in the ditch when salmon and koi are right in front of us. I just like to keep the peace." Hans told her nicely.

Rieve looked confused. She tipped her head sideways in question. "Why would you think that Hans. I appreciate your way of life. I thought I made that clear? I hunted to honor it. I only hold off eating, because I am enjoying see you eat, is all. I didn't mean to offend you, Hans. I'm sorry." Rieve said meekly, as she walked over to him. She looked him in the eyes to convey her sincerely. She licked his muzzle, then got down on the ground to eat the possum.

"I'm not offended. It's just usually foxes will hunt by the ditches but are annoyed because it's more work then just grabbing some fish, that's all. I am very glad you honor my way of life, that's very kind." He said kindly and nuzzled her.

She chuckled and nuzzled him back. Glad he wasn't mad.

"I would like to explore farther into the woods. Even I haven't seen some of it." Hans told her. "What do you want to do?" He asked.
