Castiel looked down at her unsure. This was how he survived. But she genuinely looked unconcerned. So he switched from protection mode to neutral. He laid back down next to Astral. He smiled sadly at her and said," Old habits."

Astral grinned. "It's fine, it's not your fault. I just haven't seen you relax yet, so I figured, give you some time off." She wagged her tail and stretched

"Some time off, sounds nice." Castiel smiled at her. He slowly laid back then rolled over on his back. He flopped his tongue out and gave her a goofy grin. "How's this. Is this laid back enough for you?" He asked her teasingly.

Gideon finally decided he wasn't going to let the rabbit go to waste and started to eat it. He couldn't figure it out. Why would a vixen leave him a meal? So deep in thought and eating, he didn't hear any one walk up on him. That is until someone said," Um, excuse us..." He jumped up into the air, landed hunched over, ears down and tail poofed out. He stood like that to assess the threat. He caught wind of the fox's scent. It was the vixen that had left the rabbit. "I'm sorry! I thought it was left for me. You can have it back." Gideon said apologetic. He looked at his den, could he make it before they attacked.

Arran giggled at him a little, she found him absolutely beautiful and funny.

Andorra watched him act like they were a threat. She calmly said, "That rabbit was for you. We mean you no harm. We just wanted to ask you a question."

Gideon straightened out his posture at her words. "Why? I mean why would you want to ask me a question? Okay and why did you leave the rabbit?" He really wanted to know.

Andorra smiled at the albino fox with the silver eyes and said, " You are the male that owns this territory and we would like to live here. The rabbit was a peace offering. That's all. I'm Andorra and my coyote friend here is Arran. Your name would be?"

Gideon looked at them confused. NAME! He told himself. " Um...Gideon? I mean, my name is Gideon." He thought a moment then said, " I don't care if you live in my territory. Just don't harass me. If you can live by those rules, then okay. You can live here."

Andorra smiled at him with gratitude. "Thank you Gideon! You won't regret it." She said before she made to leave. But stopped when she noticed that Arran was staring at him hard." Arran! Stop that!" She demanded.

Arran recovered and looked back at her friend, "What? I didn't do anything." She said defensively.

Gideon watched them leave, puzzled. He said to himself ? "Well that's never happened before." He walked back to the rabbit to finish it. It would be rude not to honor their gift. That and he was pretty hungry.

Rieve smiled shyly at Hans. She then said, " Were I used to live, I was in no hurry. But now, yes. I think it's time I seriously thought about it."

"I don't want you to feel like you have to have a family. If you don't want to, that's fine." Hans said sweetly.
(I donated my chicken's body to science cause she had cancer. Now she will help all your chickens)

(I'm so so sorry! *hugs* poor girl. She will go to heaven and see the Lord soon, and he will make sure she has comfort, she will never be alone.)

Rieve blushed deeply. "Hans, you're the only fox I have ever considered having a family with. Is that plan enough for you?" She asked nervously.

He smiled at her. "I'm glad. It is enough. I do want a family, having little pups running about, playing with your tail is pretty darn adorable." He said and smiled.

Rieve smiled at what he said. The thought of their pups living in this world of love and joy. Almost made her cry.

"So, I'm guessing you used to not want pups because it was hard for them to even survive?" He asked curiously, but with remorse.

"Yes, mainly that, but mostly Castiel. My seasons came and when I refused him, he kept all males away, too. He was convinced that I would grow to love him some day. But now, all that's over. I'm free to live and do what I want now. Loving you and having a family is what I want to do." Rieve finished happily.

He smiled. "That seems a selfish thing to do...I'm sorry you had to go through all that. Why didn't he drive me away?" He asked.
