Fox got my hens.........question...........

Can you just be sure to lock up? If this has happened several times (gone for 15 minutes, chickens dead upon return) why don't you just remove the opportunity for the fox to get your hens (no shooting required).

Lollipop..........yep......caught in the act. The first time just saw it running away, the second time it was on a chicken and the dog went after it.

muell112...........once they are out I can't shoo them all back in again. We pretty much just sit out with them and enjoy the evening untill dusk when they all go back in on thier own. I had just gone in to use the bathroom and feed the dog, it couldn't have been 15 minutes tops. That's why I believe the fox watch from the woods. Really ballsy those foxes.
